GFWC Central Oregon Juniorettes
Central Oregon is home to the growing cities of Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Prineville and Madras and the resort community of Sunriver and is home to GFWC Central Oregon Juniorette Club. The Central Oregon Juniorette Club supports local food projects like “peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the hungry”. They also do Senior outreach programs and participate in the “Pinwheel For Prevention” garden.
A Juniorette club member is a young person in middle, junior and high school and by being a member learns:
1. To contribute to a meaningful community life
2. To become aware of community problems and how they could be met
3. To learn the pleasures and rewards of working with a group
